Techies Unite! Give Bucketman a Site!
He sets the rhythm of the city
uniting our iPodlated lives in a common beat
and knows how to make people smile
A couple of days ago was his birthday
I asked him if he has a website where people can buy his music and learn more about him. He said he didn’t. I thought, in a city where techies and web designers abound, perhaps one of them can build him one for free. Perhaps another one has a laptop he can spare. Another might show him how to setup and operate email and administrate the sales of his music. And maybe that way, we’ll help him a bit in his pursuit of happiness
For it is one of the only pursuits where by helping others in it you do not stay behind but advance further.

I love his big smile. I am not in a position to contribute, but I think this is an awesome cause.
It is really cool what you are doing for Larry Hunt. I hope all goes well and people recognize him more!
That would be awesome. I don’t live very close, and I don’t have too much experience designing websites, but if there’s something I can do, I’d be glad to do it.
Heyo! I’ve got a ton more bandwidth than I need… Should you get the rest of it together, drop me a line and I’ll host.

I’d be happy to help design a website for bucket man.
My homepage is not professional..but it works for us.
Whatever you do, please don’t let “Harry” design that website.
…If you’re thinking about it, first try closing your eyes and banging on the keyboard for forty-five seconds with your genitals. Hard. The comparative results may surprise you.
I mean, wow. Seriously. The linked website looks like it was designed by a retarded weasel on acid.
Harry buddy, your enthusiasm is commendable, and it may indeed work for you; but for everyone else, well… Ouch.
Otherwise, maybe you should follow up with exactly what he needs or you’d like to set up. And post some updates on if you manage to get anything moving. Domains and hosting are really, really cheap. So are CD-Rs and label kits, even cheap computers with burners.
Hey Alexander, email me. I registered a domain, BucketmanMusic.com and it’s hosted on my dedicated web server with plenty of bandwidth.
I don’t have to time to do any design or coding, but I can/will setup an FTP account for anyone that wants to do it.
hey there, i’ll design a site for you. it’ll be simple, but i’ll do it
I’m in!
I’m a little rusty with coding and web design, but it won’t take long for me to get it all back. I would like to contribute in some way to bucket man! I’ve always wanted to do what he can do, never succeeding. This is definitely the closest to it I may ever get. Please let me know how I can help with this man’s project. Seeing him succeed through what we can do for him is payback enough for me to put everything I’ve got into it. I want to help. Thanks!
i am not a coder, nor do i have a spare computer, but i am very interested in contributing to this cause. if there is any way i could make monetary donations; feel free to contact me, or send information to my email.
also, a few of my friends are experienced in web design and i’m sure they would not mind helping create something that could allow this man to express his soul.
as a fellow artist and musician, and as a fellow citizen of this world; i can’t help but empathize with his plight.
Im really excited to hear that Larry has support from the community. I hired him for a dance-theater project last year and he was extremely helpful. Larry is one of a kind and I look forward to working with him again.
What about getting him a myspace page? This site is very useful for promotion and publicity. Its a major networking tool and its free.
let me know if i can help.
Hey Jacinta,
A myspace page was my initial idea too, and it’s a damn good one, so thanks for the reminder! I’ll get to it when I return to the United States (I’m in Greece till June 11th) and drop you a line when I think of a way you can help
Hey Alexander-
i just received an email about Larry’s myspace site. So happy to hear about it! Do you have his ph #?-
or i could leave you my email/ ph for him.
(i dont have a myspace account because the site
scares me)
I would like to contact him about a future project.
Also I wanted to let him know that I am putting a link to his myspace page on my new website- which should be up and running by the end of the week.
thanks again!
